Huntingwood Divestment Program (NSW)

Delivering fairness and value through property divestment

Sydney Water’s Property and Asset Lifecycle Team are responsible for managing a large divestment program, including a 21ha site at Honeman Close in Huntingwood, Western Sydney valued at ~$200m.

Sydney Water wanted to select a proponent through a fair and competitive process, including Registration of Interest (ROI), Request for Tender (RFT) and a Best and Final Offer (BAFO).

Our role

MBB were engaged by Sydney Water to provide transaction advisory support during the divestment of the Huntingwood site.

Our services

MBB provided transaction advisory services, project management support and property advice including:

• Developing an agreed approach to quality assurance to ensure proponent response information was accurate and in line with the agreed criteria
• Managing the request for information process
• Consolidating all information into a final report to support the tender evaluation team during evaluation, selection and negotiation process.
• Reviewing each tender submission by populating draft summary sheet and identifying any omissions or non-conformances from submissions

The material provided by MBB helped inform the Tender Evaluation Team synthesise responses, evaluate submissions and select a proponent in line the criteria.
