MBB Group are proud to have worked with Marinus Link Pty Ltd to support their award of the major civil works contract to the TasVic Greenlink joint venture.

Our team supported Marinus Link Pty Ltd as the commercial and transaction advisor. This milestone marks a key step towards the completion of this vitally important piece of energy infrastructure. When completed, Marinus Link will join Victoria’s wind and solar with Tasmania’s flexible hydropower and geographically diverse wind, strengthening Australia’s national grid, promoting investment and creating thousands of jobs.

James Woods, MBB’s Regional Director for NSW and Tasmania, summarised, “This milestone marks another significant step in Marinus Link’s progression which, once built and operational, will deliver increased interconnection capacity between Australia’s eastern states , harnessing clean, low-cost renewable power from renewable energy zones across the National Energy Market.“
